The owner and pastry chef for Dolce Cakes is Michele Pett, a professionally trained chef with over twenty years of pastry experience. Michele’s background includes her formal culinary education at Tante Marie’s Cooking School in San Francisco and continued training at Ecole Le Notre, Paris, France. In addition, Michele gained invaluable experience working for five years in the pastry kitchen of the exclusive Ritz-Carlton Hotel, San Francisco, where she first began making wedding cakes. Drawing on this exceptional background, Michele established her own baking business more than fifteen years ago.



During this time, Michele has designed and baked exquisite wedding cakes and desserts for discriminating clients throughout the greater Bay Area. Her work at Dolce enables us to provide you with a mastery of pastry and a fine sense of the aesthetic. Our cakes are always delicious, baked with the finest quality ingredients. The cake selections are extensive, ranging from classic European to familiar American standards, and can be seen on our Cake Menu.



We design and prepare our cakes to suit your personal style and taste. Whether you prefer traditional detail or something more contemporary, classic white or vivid color, elegantly sophisticated or simply sweet, we will work with you to create a cake that will make your affair distinctive and memorable.
